A uniquely immersive, audience-engaging theatre experience, Canoga Park Car Plays are more than a series of one act stage plays. They’re personal stories, life affirming, life altering slices of life, meticulously helmed by professional directors, dramatically depicted by skilled actors as told by emerging, local playwrights.

Each 10-minute play consists of a two-person cast performing in and around a car, specifically and almost exclusively in the vehicle’s front seats. The play’s ultra-intimate audiences are seated in the automobile’s back seats.

Each play takes place in stationery cars parked in the alley directly behind West Valley Playhouse at 7242 Owensmouth Ave near Sherman Way, designated as one of LA’s great streets during the popular Canoga Park Farmers Market.
