Singer/Songwriter, first-time event producer and Vision’s Kids alumni Marla Bradford aka “Marla B,” added yet another accomplishment to her growing professional show biz resume by producing the eclectic and highly entertaining music showcase Open Ears.

A well-attended and very warmly received event, Open Ears debuted in Oakland’s Uptown Arts District during the city’s July First Friday celebration.  Joining Marla were Vision’s Kids alumni vocalists Charles Peoples lll and Tory Tinsley (who also served as emcee), along with a diverse group of young Bay Area music talent.  Also featured was up & coming R&B singer and Vision’s Kids newcomer Tia Osborne aka “Miss Tia,” from Cocoa Beach, Florida.  Artists performed Hip Hop, Jazz, R&B and Classical music.  The lovely and talented Marla B is currently touring Europe, gaining greater inspiration and creating new music.  Enjoy, Marla and  Hurry back!
